Trails suitable for children
- Cerrada de Elías (accessible section of the Borosa River): ≈10 km round trip (2–3 h at a family pace), a wide track and walkways over the river. Little ones love the wooden bridges and pools.
- Cerrada del Utrero: a circular trail ≈2 km (≈45 min), with railings and views of the Linarejos Waterfall.
- Cerezuelo Trail and Malena Waterfall (Cazorla town): a short urban-nature walk, perfect for a relaxed afternoon.
Family activities
- Collado del Almendral Wildlife Park train (by the Tranco reservoir): one of the activities children enjoy most. A guided ride on a tourist train of about 45 minutes through an area where you can see up close y en semilibertad ciervos, gamos, muflones y cabras montesas. Al terminar se puede hacer a pie un sendero corto y fácil por varios miradores con vistas al embalse, con exhibición de aves rapaces en uno de ellos. Conviene reservar con antelación.
- Interpretation Centre of the Princely Tombs of Toya and Hornos (Peal de Becerro): replicas and videos to discover the Iberian world.
- Wildlife watching: deer, Spanish ibex and vultures. In autumn (September–October), the deer rut is a natural spectacle.
- Jardín Botánico Torre del Vinagre (A‑319): information panels and an easy route, ideal for learning through play. Next door, the Visitor Centre and, towards the Borosa, a fish farm that little ones usually enjoy.
